Doctor Thomas Salinas Bio
Dr. Salinas is a native of Texas; raised in Houston and educated at Austin College where he received a BA in Biology.
After College, Dr. Salinas was accepted into the Peace Corps where he served 2 ½ years in Taku, Cameroon as an agroforestry extension agent.
Upon returning to the U.S.A, he attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he published original research in the fields of radiography and oral surgery, served as president of the ASDA, sat on numerous committees and graduated with many academic and technical honors.
After receiving his DDS, Dr. Salinas was accepted into the University of Florida’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in St. Petersburg where he spent a year studying the finer points of complex dentistry.
Since the commencement of his formal studies, Dr. Salinas has accrued over 600 hours of Continuing Dental Education in virtually all areas of dentistry. In 2002 He was invited to speak at the University of Havana Dental College where he gave a lecture on advanced root canal therapy.
Dr. Salinas began working with Dr. Guillermo Porro as an associate in 2000 and was taken on as a partner in 2004.
